This FAQ page provides useful information for browsing and shopping with NouveauToys.com. It also answers to most commonly asked questions about our business and policies. Please read through this FAQs section carefully before contacting us. Nouveau Toys is committed to provide our customers with the best possible service. By using Paypal checkout process, your entire shopping process can entirely be conducted online. You can place order online any time 24/7. We also take orders by email or by fax. Unfortunately we do not accept phone order at this time.

NOUVEAUTOYS.COM - Nouveau Toys is a registered business entity in the state of California. We provide an online (internet-based) retail storefront for the sales of rare 1/6 scale collectible female action figures and other products such as clothing and accessories of similar interest.

Q: Are most of figures available in stock?

A: If there is buy button next to the item, it means it is in stock and available for immediate purchase. If the product is out of stock, the words "OUT OF STOCK" will appear next to the product description.

Q: Do you send mailings to your customers periodically?

A: No, the online shop is our catalog with the most recent figures and accessories in stock & available for purchase.

Q: Do you accept orders by phone?

A: No, currently we only accept online & mail-in orders.

Q: How to order your products online?

A: It's simple! Just follow these easy steps:

1. First, click on the Shop menu tab from the top menu navigation bar to access to our product section, and make your selections to purchase or to access for more product information.

2. Then fill your shopping cart with the products that you are interested in purchasing. This is done by clicking the "Add to Shopping Cart" green button that is located with each product description. If you have not placed any order yet, your cart will be empty.

3. Immediately after this you’ll be taken to the tabulated shop cart view.  At this point you can either change the quantity or the item(s) selected, remove it, continue shopping or simply proceed to check out.

4. When you have selected all of the products you wish to purchase, click the "Checkout" button. This will take you to the next window asking to fill out the your shipping region for UPS or USPS shipping rates.

5. Next select the postal rate of your choice and complete all of the required fields (marked with red astriks) on the billing and shipping information forms, including your login info. New user will need to register for the user name and password. When complete, click the "Next" button.

6. Enter you credit card information, including name that appears on the same card entered along with the security 3 digit code in the back of your card.  When all the required fields are completed, click the “Continue” button.

7. A summary of your order is now on the screen for your review/edit. When you are satisfied with your order's accuracy, click the "Continue" button.

8. A dialogue box will inform you that the order will now be submitted. Click on the "confirm" button to process the order.

9. A confirmation page will be generated. Please print this page as your receipt.

10. We'll email you an UPS or USPS tracking number when we ship your order, please log on to www.ups.com or www.usps.com and type in your tracking number to find out where your transiting package is.

Q: How to change, add or delete ordering item(s) on my current order?

A: Simply go to the check out tab and click cancel or go to another desired item to click the buy button to add to your order.  Similarly you can delete your current order on the website.  Please make sure of your final selection before you fill out all the important ordering info and options.

Q: What are your payment options & policies?

A: NOUVEAUTOYS.COM accepts all major credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express.  If you prefer not to use a credit card for an online purchase, you have the option of email or faxing your order to Nouveau Toys. Simply print out your shopping cart order and fax it to 714-223-9521. We also accept cashier’s checks, personal checks & money order. For all personal checks we require clearance from the bank before processing your order which will take extra 6-12 days to process. Payment Methods & Policies
Payment for orders may be made in several different ways. Payment method is selected during the checkout process. Discussed below are the different types of payments we accept, and specific policies regarding each type of payment.

Credit Card
This is the recommended method for paying for a NOUVEAUTOYS.COM order, and will achieve the best turnaround time for shipment. At this time we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover.

We reserve the right to make additional inquiries or to hold shipment of an order if billing address or telephone number provided do not match what is on file with the credit card issuer, or for international cards.

Money Order
We can accept money orders when they are made out in US$ and drawn on a US bank. Many international postal money orders meet this criteria making the money order an inexpensive way to pay for an international order.

We will not ship the order until we have received the money order in the mail.

Making payment by money order can delay shipment of your order for an additional 3-7 days (3-6 weeks for non-U.S./Canada customers).

International customers can purchase international money orders in US$ at many locations including major banks in your home country, as well as large international banking organizations such as Western Union or Citibank.

Personal Check
We can accept personal checks when they are written in US$ and drawn on a US bank.

We will not ship the order until we have received the check in the mail. Further, we reserve the right to hold shipment of an order until that check clears from our bank.

Making payment by personal check can delay shipment of your order for an additional 6-12 business days.

Bad check writers will have their account charged a service fee of $25 per incident. We will submit bad checks multiple times to obtain payment. Note that this can incur service charges with your bank as high as $25 per incident if funds are not available when the check is presented for payment. Writing bad checks can really cost you (not to mention illegal) and is strongly discouraged. Individuals who routinely place orders then do not pay for them are subject to having their account suspended indefinitely.

Q: Do you collect taxes?

A: By the law of the State of California, we are required to collect retail sales tax for any order that ship to a California/USA address.

Q: What are your online security & safety measures?

A: For online security, all on-line transactions are handled with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. So as you enter your credit card number and personal information into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted form to us.

We screen all credit card charges very carefully and pursue fraudulent orders to the full extent of the law. All fraudulent order will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Q: What are your shipping policies?

A: All credit card orders will be shipped within two (2-3) business days upon receipt of confirmed payment. Personal checks payments will delay your shipment to anywhere from 6-12 business days.

We use US Postal or Fedex for shipping and are unable to ship to PO Boxes or APO'S. NOUVEAUTOYS.COM charges the current US Postal or Fedex rates for domestic and international shipments with a small additional charge to cover packaging costs (boxes, envelopes, packing material, etc.) Shipping charges are based on the size/weight of your order, not on the amount of your order.

Domestic (U.S.) orders will be offered any of several different shipping methods depending on order weight/size.Insurance is an optional service at an additional charge. NOUVEAUTOYS.COM will not be held responsible for uninsured domestic shipments that are lost or damaged in transit.

For damage or loss claims on insured shipments, either we or the carrier may require you to cooperate in making a claim with respect to the problem. For shipments damaged in transit, the damaged parcel + all items and packaging material must be presented to the local post office for inspection and filing of claim. For shipments lost in transit, we will need your statement in writing that the shipment was not received by you. Failure to cooperate with NOUVEAUTOYS.COM customer service in making an insurance claim for an insured shipment will immediately void insurance coverage of the shipment.

Regarding third-party recipients: if your delivery is being shipped to a location other than your own residence, such as to an office, college dorm, friend's house, freight consolidator, etc. – NOUVEAUTOYS.COM will not under any circumstances be responsible for loss, damage, or missing items from your order.

Q: Can I bundle two or more orders to save on shipping?

A: Yes, we can combine two or more when you order the products separately in different times.  Please notify us by email to combine the shipping so that we can give you a better shipping quote and give you the retabulated shipping amount.

Q: Do you sell and ship to international orders outside of US?

A: NOUVEAUTOYS.COM welcomes international customers! The ordering process for the international is a bit different. You must provide us your shipping address via email. We will supply you the shipping rate and the total cost before expediting the order.

International (outside the US) orders will be offered any of several different shipping methods depending on order weight/size. NOUVEAUTOYS.COM will not be held responsible for uninsured international shipments that are lost or damaged in transit. We do not offer surface/ocean shipping for international orders due to the high risk of loss/damage.

International shipments will be declared with customs as commercial merchandise. Note that it is illegal for us to declare your shipment as a gift - please don't ask us to do so. The customer is solely responsible for any duties or taxes associated with retrieving the shipment through local customs. Nouveau Toys does not collect for duties, royalties or taxes at time of order. Your carrier will collect those charges when they deliver your package. These charges are solely implanted by other sovereign countries and have nothing to do with Nouveau Toys.

If you are an international customer expecting to have your merchandise shipped to an address in the U.S. you need to provide your correct home address and country in the billing contact portion of your address. Failure to do so will be construed as fraudlent misrepresentation and you may be forbidden from doing business with NOUVEAUTOYS.COM.

Additional notes regarding international shipments:
•  At our discretion, we may elect not to send high-value and/or physically large shipments internationally unless they are paid for in advance with guaranteed funds (U.S. cash, international money order, or money transfer/wire).

•  Credit Card payment is no longer accepted from customers located in Mexico or the Philippines. At our discretion, other countries may be added to this list if fraud issues continue to present themselves.

•  We reserve the right to request additional identification information before processing any order. If we require this information, we will contact you with additional details. If you do not provide the requested information, your order will be canceled and your account with us closed.

Q: How soon do you ship after the order is placed?

A: Upon receipt of confirmed payment, all standard credit card orders will be processed & shipped within 2-3 business days. For orders paid by check, we need up to 6-8 days(or maybe more) for the check to clear from the bank before we process and ship your order. We will only ship to confirmed addresses. (Sorry no exceptions!).

Please note that the selected UPS shipping method (Domestic and Canadian orders only!) that you choose from the menu is only an estimate delivery time, it is not a guarantee.(Meaning from the day we hand your ordered package to the carrier to the day it arrives your door) Please verify with UPS on the actual transit time with the tracking number provided to you by email.

Q: How to check on the status of my order?

A: For all shipment(s), an UPS tracking number will be emailed to you for status tracking purpose. Simply log on to www.ups.com and type in the give tracking number to find out where your transiting package is. If you still have question concerning whereabout of your package please contact us via e-mail at nouveautoys@sbcglobal.net.

Q: How to print a receipt?

A: When you have completed the online ordering process, an order confirmation page is generated online. Simply print this page as your order receipt. Also an email will be sent to you with the detail description of your order. You can likewise print it out as your receipt.

Q: How to cancel an order?

A: Should you need to cancel your order, please contact Nouveau Toys Customer Service via e-mail at nouveautoys@sbcglobal.net or by calling 714-223-9521. Please contact us within the 48 hrs of the placement of your order, thank you!

Q: What are your return policies? How to return a product?

A: We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If for some reason you are not satisfied, you may return the unopened item(s) in its original box/packaging (in the same condition as it was sent to you) for exchange (same item only) or refund within ten (10) days of the receipt of merchandise. Requests for return of merchandise for refund must be accompanied by a reasonable explanation for the return. Returns for refund will be accessed a 15% restocking fee, and no shipping charges will be refunded. The customer will be responsible for shipping the item(s) back to Nouveau Toys (at customer's cost). All items being retuned to Nouveau Toys must be packaged well to prevent possible damage (scuffed boxes, dented corners etc.) while in transit. If you received a damaged item please contact us immediately so we can file a damage claim with the shipping carrier. We will either ship out a replacement (at our cost) or refund your money including the original shipping cost.

A return merchandise authorization (RMA) must be obtained from NOUVEAUTOYS.COM customer service before returning merchandise. Items returned without an RMA will be refused (return to sender). When we provide an RMA, we will also provide shipping instructions for returning the merchandise. Failure to follow these instructions may result in refusal (return to sender) of your RMA shipment.

We reserve the following additional rights with respect to our return policies:

1. We will not accept returns for item(s) with the opened retail packaging.
2. We will not accept returns for item(s) damaged in shipping unless
     insurance was purchased with your order.
3. For defective/damaged returns, we reserve the option to repair, replace,
    or provide refund for the item(s) in question at our discretion.
4. We will refuse returns on item(s) that we believe were purchased for the
    purposes of resale, "scalping", price speculation, etc.

Q: What are your privacy & security policies?

A: NOUVEAUTOYS.COM takes your privacy and security very seriously. We will never make your personal information available to any nonaffiliated third party for any reason. Our secure server provides a safe, encrypted channel for passing sensitive information such as credit card numbers. We encrypt all sensitive information so that it cannot fall into the wrong hands during or after an order is placed.

Nouveau Toys uses cookies to automate the shopping cart and checkout process. We do not use cookies to obtain any personal information, track your viewing habits, or any other activity which many people (including us) consider to be a violation of privacy.

Email Privacy Policy
We also take your email information very seriously, and will never share your personal email with any non-affiliated third party whatsoever. From time to time NOUVEAUTOYS.COM will send out emails informing our customers of new promotions, sales, or arriving products. If you prefer not to receive such emails from us you may elect to unsubscribe from our email listing.
